How can one start working as a vet in Finland

If you want to authorize you as a vet in Finland you can ask for the requirements of the authorization from Evira, Finnish Food Safety Authority, Ms. Anita Venäläinen there is the right person to inform you. Evira in english.  

To join The Finnish Veterinary Association, you need to fill in the membership application.

Finnish Veterinary Association publishes a journal monthly. Most employees publish their ads for jobs in the journal. Those ads plus ads for shorter jobs are also in our web pages for members only. You can get the journal and excess to our members only -web pages by joining us and then paying our annual fee. Alternatively you can only order the journal. The membership fee varies from 120e to 460e, depending on your income. The Journal is 120 e/year (2013). The ads are basically in Finnish, some might be in Swedish as well, English is very seldom used. You can also make your own ad in English to the journal.
